Netflix and socks go together. I don't ride public trans so I don't have that time to work on socks. But I have found that socks and Netflix go together perfectly. I can pop in a disc and knit along.

Right now I making a version of the Annetralac socks from Interweave Knits 2007 Holiday issue. I am mixing three yarns: Interlacements Tiny Toes, Regia Kaffe Fassett and Dale Baby Ull. Every row of entrelac is a different yarn. It is a very loud combination that I will wear when I run away to follow the Greatful Dead...I mean Phish...oh, whoever.

I decided from the get go that I was not going to turn the socks around to purl. Instead I have been knitting backward and it goes so much faster that way.

If you are interested in seeing or learning the technique, drop in the store.

Kathy
