Birthday Greetings:

In seven years Arcadia Knitting has sold over 130,000 skeins of yarn, 70,000
stitch markers, 14,000 point protectors and 4,000 pairs of size 8 needles. We've had plenty of visitors: Debbie Stoller, Stephanie Pearl McPhee, Shannon Oakey, Perri Klass, and Annie Modisett.

Kathy and Sharon Kelly are very excited to be celebrating Seven Years in business. So from Tuesday, May 1 to Sunday, May 6 we are having fun and offering gift with purchase specials and other sale items.

Starting Tuesday, May 1 and all through the week enter our "Guess how many
point protectors in the jar" contest. Winner receives a Stash Minder packed
with goodies. All entries in the contest will be entered in a drawing for
other special gifts and prizes.

The Party starts Tuesday May 1st with Point Protectors Day.

Wednesday, May 2nd is Spinning Day, roving for everyone. Visit Windy City
Handspinning Guild for more information on locals who spin.

Thursday, May 3rd, Knit Check Day. AND Knitting Nature by Norah Gaughan Trunk
Show Arrives. Watch Kathy and Sharon un-pack and display 20 items from Norah
Gaughan's hit book, Knitting Nature. Need to know more about Norah's philosophy?

Friday, May 4th, Book Day - Book Plates Day. Super Special - Books from 10% to
30% off. Free Knitting and Crochet lessons all day long.

Saturday, May 5th - Stitch Holders and Sharon's Sweater Collection. See
Sharon's famous "rainbow" of color, from cream to roasted coffee. The entire
collection will be on display.

Sunday, May 6th Cake, Piñata and drawings for more prizes from 1 - 3 pm. Plus
we name the winner of the "Guess the Number of Point Protectors in the Jar"
Contest.
