1000 Knitters & Franklin of the Panopticon

Last Saturday, July 14th,
Franklin did his first photo shoot for his 1000 Knitters project. We
had a great day. People flowed in and by the afternoon the joint was a
buzz.

It was the best day I have ever had in the shop. Thank you to everyone who came, especially the woman from Rhode Island driving to Seattle who stopped by. I went home exhausted but a little high.

He will be doing other shoots over time. Watch his blog for info.

Up to our knees in sock yarn

Okay, Sharon & I usually cycle our stock of sock yarn: a little Lorna's Laces, Jawoll, Baby Ull, Cherry Tree Hill, Wildefoote, etc. We like to keep it fresh.

Well somehow a whole lotta sock yarn has arrived: Smooshy from Dream in Color, Tiny Toes from Interlacements, Aktion from Lang/Jawoll. And more!

It is all too pretty to be believed. Please come and get some before I take it all home.

Kathy
