Gift Ideas

Your family wants to be good to you but still doesn't understand the ins & outs of your hobby. Give them some very clear guidance. Here are some ideas:

A gift certificate to your favorite yarn store. Stop in or call. We can mail them out. They come in any denomination.

Books. How about some great stitch books or reference books? Stitchionary, Barbara Walker, Elizabeth Zimmerman, etc.

Notions: stitch markers, stitch holders, etc.

One great skein of sock yarn: Jitterbug, Opal, Trekking, etc.

Needle cases. We have some very pretty cases from DellaQ.

Denise Needle Kit.

Seasonal Ramblings

I am always happy to have wool socks I made in this weather. I always vow to make more in the summer but fail.

I'm ready for my close up. Today Sharon took pictures of some free patterns we have at the shop as well as samples for the upcoming classes. Check the website in three or four days for the patterns and the schedule. There are some great, quick, scarf patterns. We're really excited about the classes we have coming up. Sign up with a friend to make it more fun.

Don't forget we have project clean up night on Wednesdays. There are 2 more evenings left before Christmas.

New yarns are coming in all the time. We now have Malabrigo lace weight. We are waiting on Misti worsted hand paint. Gorgeous. We have started to see spring and summer yarn line from our sales reps, too.
